The Kamilavkion is the headgear of presbyters and monks Orthodox, who wear it together with the rasso and sometimes during liturgical actions. This particular headdress, having the shape of a cylinder without the brim, can be of two colors: all black for presbyters and monks, black with red or purple covering for prelates, to whom it is given as a symbol of honor.
