Recommendations to measure correctly:

Measure directly over the clothes you will bring with the garment you intend to order, asking for assistance to someone practical (a tailor). Stand straight, but relaxed. It is recommended to wear shoes when measuring the total length of the garment.

Dress head with narrow sleeves that reaches the ankles. It can be considered a "intimo" garment of the monk and the nun.
Ordinarily it is black, sometimes it can be blue and rarely gray. Black color means that you must always be strengthened by mortal sadness for sin and life in foreign land. It is the habit of voluntary poverty and lack of possession and bearing of all misery and all restraint.
