For the production of our sculptures, the finest alpine woods are chosen and seasoned for years.
All models in our collection are designed by sculptors Ulrich and Daniel Perathoner. Initially several drawings are made, then a clay model, and finally the wood sculpture is carved. The carved figure is given to the art foundry, which casts the model in bronze; this is used to reproduce the sculpture in different sizes.
The figures are carved and finished by hand by expert carvers.
Then the figures are painted, patinated and gilded by hand by master painters.

We use two types of wood: maple wood for statues up to 40 cm and basswood for statues over 40 cm.

Experienced master craftsmen work our models with different techniques.

The following realizations are available:

• Natural: Natural, untreated wood

• Burnished: Burnished with a light brown patina and wax polished

• Burnished2 colors: Burnished with a graduated light-dark brown patina and wax polished

• Antique: Painted antique style with oil colors on a plaster background, gilded with oxidized gold leaf

• Colored: Painted with oil colors on wood (wood grain visible), gilded with oxidized gold leaf

• Antique Gold Zecchino: Painted antique style with oil colors on chalk background, gilded with 24 karat gold leaf

• Gold Zecchino ULI: Very finepainting! Painted antique style with oil colors on plaster background, gilded with 24 karat pure gold leaf
