The fourth volume “I called you friends”, destined for the children of 12-14 years, proposes a catechistic itinerary aimed at promoting an ever more convinced personalization of the experience of faith, around the main goals: a deepening of Christ and the sacraments already celebrated, of a development of moral conscience, of a more organic vocational orientation, of an education to missionaryity and service.

The catechism, through six teaching units, leads the boys in a rich itinerary of faith: a renewed discovery of God, friend and ally; the encounter with Jesus of Nazareth and his Gospel as a discovery of his identity and the truest identity of the children; the novelty of Easter celebrated and witnessed in the Christian community and to us participated in the grace of Christ, the call to welcome the project of Christian life by making fruitful every gift with responsibility and protagonist; the invitation to follow Christ, faithful to the needs of his friendship, confident in the help of the Holy Spirit to overcome sin and to be able to continually redesign our life as disciples with the Lord; the discovery of the true face of the Church and its mission, where also the boys and girls have an important task to carry out.
