The_ (from Greek ,μοφόριον, omophórion, "to carry on the shoulders") is a liturgical parade used by bishops orthodox and the bishops Catholic Catholics Eastern Byzantine rite. It is the correspondent of pal (pallium) Catholic Church. Homophor is a silk or velvet band about fifteen centimeters, curved in the center so that you can turn it behind the neck and lean it on the shoulders and drop the ends on the chest. It is decorated with embroidered crosses and ends with three lines that distinguish the episcopal, priestly and deaconal order; is worn over the Felonio.
