The third typical edition of the Roman Missal published by the Vatican Publishing Library in collaboration with the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments was presented by Cardinal Francis Arinze, Prefect of the Congregation, to Benedict XVI, Saturday morning November 22, 2008, in the private library of the Apostolic Palace. The Pope expressed his satisfaction with the initiative. They accompanied the Cardinal, Archbishop Albert Malcolm Ranjith Patabendige Don, and Monsignor Anthony Ward, respectively secretary and undersecretary of the Congregation for the Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. Also present were Don Giuseppe Costa, director of the Vatican Editrice Library and the Commendatore Antonio Maggiotto, commercial director of Vatican typography.
