The Orlet (Russian: Орлец, which means eagle), is a small carpet, usually round, which uses the Orthodox Bishop when he is standing during the services he offers. The eagle depicted on the carpet represents an eagle overlooking and librating on a city, just as the Bishop through his consecration is called to be a guardian of his city, the flock entrusted to his care. It is mainly used in the Russian Orthodox Church.
Our Orthodox liturgical carpets (Orletz) are made in Serbia by professional artisans. The production times vary according to the product. Every product is made for you.
